I ended up changing the constraints of the second rectangle to tweak its positions within the second sketch, but I'm out of luck for the rotation part and it seems really circumvolved to simply move a shape. I've tried many other (likely stupid) operations with no luck. It does not seem to be the proper solution either. I've tried to use "Drawing" to perform translations and rotations of the second rectangle, but again, as soon as the second rectangle is mapped onto the first extrusion: reset. ![]() What I'm looking for is *which* operations should I execute to move the second rectangle once it has been sketched? I understand the first sketch gives the position, so any attempt to use the "Placement" settings result into a full reset of the placement as soon as the second rectangle is mapped onto one of the face of the first extrusion, no problem. What if I want to move ("place") this second rectangle to another position ? This is easy as long as I do not want to change the position of the second rectangle or its orientation (around the Z axis). My question is as simple as: how to create a pocket into the first extrusion, with the shape of the second rectangle. Then, I create a second sketch, Sketch_2, in the XZ-plane, where I draw another centered rectangle. I then extrude this rectangle in the Z direction. Lets say from a new document, I create Sketch_1, in XY-plane, where I draw a centered rectangle.
